Well, spent nearly all of today writing - just not the things I'm supposed to be writing. Bad bad bad. I think I made some good progress though. Have a new one-shot that I will post on the writing journal later once it's edited. Had to do one for the Twilight series since I spent the past week reading all the books and have it on the brain. Now that it's out of my system I think I can thankfully move on to other, school related, things.

Am currently staring at the picture Elias drew for me when I went to babysit him the other night. Honestly, most adorable child ever. I don't think I've ever met a kid with a kinder heart. Apparently he was excited all week about me coming over to hang with him. Awe... :) That totally made my week.

What didn't make my week was the sudden re-appearance of my kidney pain. I had surgery back in early 2004 to have that thing fixed and everything was perfectly fine until today. Kidney pain is not something you want to wish on anyone - probably the single most agonizing pain anyone can have and nothing gets rid of it. It's been a constant dull ache all day, so still very manageable, but its got me worried. If this is a one-time flare up I can handle that, but if this is going to be a reoccurring thing like it used to be that means surgery - again. Fuck.
